Interview with Betty Quinn

When did you first start writing?
I started writing at a very young age...I've always had this imagination where I could create whole worlds and characters, and I loved just disappearing to these places and living among the people. I thought it was only fair that I write their stories down for the world to know that they exist.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I love sharing my stories...I love to write, and I love touching peoples' lives. I feel the greatest gift I can get is for people to be moved by my work, whether it be moved to laughter, joy, tears, rage, anger...just to see that I have made an impression that will never be forgotten.
What do your fans mean to you?
Hah, fans...I don't think I really have any of those yet...but, my friends and family who have read my works, and genuinely enjoy them, mean the world to me. It takes a strong person to put everything they have out in the open, with the hopes that even just one person will enjoy it, and even if it's just one person, that makes me happy.
What are you working on next?
Right now, I am working on a suspense/thriller story. It's a copy cat Jack The Ripper murder set in modern times...with a twist. Um, I don't want to give too much away, but it's a doozie! =)
