Published 2017-09-11.
What's the story behind your latest book?
"As the Days of Noah" has been percolating in my mind for a long time. Years ago I had a dream that was the kernel of the storyi. It's the scene in the kitchen between a marine biologist and an angel. I wanted to explore some events of the Tribulation from two perspectives, what's happening on earth and in heaven. So the story alternates between what's going on with Noah on earth and his wife and children in heaven.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I enjoy photography and making art. I have a kiln that I use to fuse glass. l like to read and watch movies. I also like hikng and exporing new places.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read a lot of Christian fiction, science fiction and mysteries.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My laptop or Andoid tablet.
Who are your favorite authors?
I love C.S. Lewis, his space trilogy and the Narnia series especially. Right now I'm reading a political thriller by Joel Rosenberg.
How do you approach cover design?
The cover design for "As the Days of Noah" reflects the dual nature of the story. The bottom part shows the judgements on the sea. The top part represents heaven.
