I usually wait to be inspired and after I use a one subject notebook. After I just write until I can't write anymore. Lastly, I decide weather or not I will update it onto Wattpad and if I don't put it on Wattpad then I just show my friends and family.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first story I read was Magic Tree House and I remember just loving the adventure. I was only five and I remember wanting to read every book in the series.
How do you approach cover design?
I take a friend or family member and do their make-up and outfit. After I just have them sitting in a scenery as I take photos. Then I'll upload them onto the computer.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
The Hunger Games trilogy because its original. The Guardian series By Lola St Vil because again its original and Lola is my role model. Then there's the Prince of Wolves series and I just love her plot line. Next is a Wattpad series called A Bet Gone Wrong. Last but not least, The Kill only because it was the first crime based book I read and the author is amazing in her other books.
What do you read for pleasure?
Anything and everything as long as I can afford it.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Nook but I want a kindle just to try it out.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I don't really know this is the first time I've joined something like Smashwords.
Describe your desk
There's a cup with pencils and pens. There's a stack of loose-leaf paper then there's three folders. Each folder holds about twenty of my stories each.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in South Carolina but I was born in Florida. My brother and I were teased in South Carolina because of our race and I guess that's the reason why I like writing stories with a struggling main character.
When did you first start writing?
I don't know but I know I was really young because my first story was about Fairies.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I had finished watching a lifetime movie about a young girl having an abusive father and I wanted to do a story like that. Where she is strong and yet she's vulnerable. She fallen and love and at the same time struggles with her old life. It's called Running From The Past and it on my Wattpad. Search Cierra Mcfee.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I don't want my stories to be known by everyone I just want to know that I am recognized by my writing. Even if it's only two people reading.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
So far it's helpful and I hope I everything goes good

The excitement of doing something original and Making people happy

They mean so much to me and I just want to make them happy.

I'm still working on Running From The Past but I'm thinking about doing a sequel to my werewolf Undeniable Destiny.
