When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I'm an arty type of person, I love to paint, read and spend time in the garden among nature.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I have authors that I follow, but I also search by genre and what I'm looking for at the time. I'm a romantic at heart, so there always needs to be romance in the books I read.
What is your writing process?
I note down the structure of what I want my story to say, I build the characters before commencing and then it's a matter of writing around the key points in the story.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The story was The Falcon and the Dove by Kathleen Woodwiss, she's the one that introduced me to romance. I have never looked back. I can say she might be a part of why I'm an author as I started as an avid reader to becoming an author.
How do you approach cover design?
I have a great graphic designer JessFX that does the design for all my covers, I thank her for always creating a cover that fits in so perfectly with my books.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Can the five be from one series? I love the Elemental's MC by Alexi Ferreira, I love the way she has a balance between romance, paranormal and builds up the story throughout the series to an explosive ending.
Describe your desk
I always have flowers on my desk, it usually has my three notebooks, coloured pens, coffee and laptop. I also keep an image of the cover of the book I am currently writing, as it helps me to connect more with my main charecter/s
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I spent a big portion of my life in Portugal. My children were born there, the stories I used to make up for them, plus the whole fairytale world that I would create for their entertainment and mine brought me to this series I am writing now. To share that world and happiness with other parents and youngsters.
When did you first start writing?
My first published book was in 2017, and I havent looked back ever since.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story of sibling love, of internal strength and unconditional acceptance.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
The motivation was to be able to bring even if just for a couple of hours a dream world to those whose reality most times doesnt stand up to their expectations. What keeps me going as an indie author is the love, dedication and unwavering support I receive from my family and my readers.
