Interview with C.C. Black

What's the story behind your latest book?
I have always found Taboo fascinating! I think it is interesting when someone falls in love, or has sexual desires for a close relative.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have always had a passion for writing. I have tried to ignore this passion for years, but I feel this is what I should be doing, and my heart will not rest until I fully commit to it.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Hopefully Smashwords will be a wonderful platform to my success in the future!
What are you working on next?
Like I said before, I am a lover of Taboo erotic fiction. My imagination is wild and my experiences are vast. I will probably start working on a little bit of virgin eroticism. Letting my readers re-image what it felt like have their cherry popped by that special someone.

Well, I have a 9-5 job so that makes me get out of bed each day. However knowing that I have a wonderful stash of Ethiopian coffee in my possession really helps get me moving each day.

Someone times I browse the top 100, or I will just type in random titles within the search bar.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, I was 12 years old when I wrote my first short fiction story. It was about a mysterious man, who lived in a small home on a hill. I had no ideal where I was going with it at the time, but that was my intro into the short story fiction world.
What is your writing process?
Sit down
Grab coffee and snacks
Open laptop
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I have no ideal what the first story I have ever read was. However, very well written stories always leave a lasting impression on. Some good and some bad, but nonetheless a impression.
How do you approach cover design?
I usually choice the cover design first, and then I write the story. I try to choose covers that give off the overall theme of the story being written.
