Yes I do, I was nineteen and just to pass the time waiting I wrote a short story and it already had erotic 'overtones' and from then on it became a sort of a hobby.

I know what my main subject is going to be, so I picture a situation to put my carracters in and just start to describe it and the people in the story. What happens next kind of follows all by its self from then on, the things the carracters do, their erotic and sexual motivations, what goes through their minds and what they do and enjoy.

I am finishing two new bundles of erotic short stories, one in Dutch and one in English which will be published hopefully this month and only recently have published: Korte erotische verhalen 4. With three stories in it and all have erotic and sexual contant like the first story: Busroute about a busdriver who travels with two female sportsteams and... well, you can imagine.

It is fun to let my fantasies flow, to let my mind wander in all kinds of erotic directions, to write about sexual experiences and activities that will never happen to me (or others) yet are a pleasure to read and write. And yes, a part of the joy of writing these stories is my own 'excitement'.

As I said before I'm finishing two more bundles of short stories and the latest story I'm working on is about a guy who rents a small holiday home at the Dutch coast and is a voyeur who spies on women through his binocculars and gets caught and... the rest is a lot of fun.

I make my own covers, for one because I can't afford the professionals who make covers and also because I like to keep things in my own hands. So I try to have the cover convey some of the content and to attract the reader and without being too 'pornographic' if that's the right word.

For my own pleasure? I actually like crime novels the most and If the mood takes me I will read erotica myself.

So far I haven't done much marketing, like doing this interview and I've only just created a facebook profile to try and promote my erotic stories. This is because I wanted to see if the sexual subject matter would be a 'marketing tool' in its self. And it has more or less as I've discovered through the steadily increase in sales, probably through word of mouth.

I like Smashwords, it's easy to 'work', I don't have to pay to publish, a lot of 'publicity' is being done for me and they take their cut as is only fair. I'm not relying on my book sales for income and it's not bad at all to make a bit of extra money with what started as a hobby.

Well, as I say in my profile, I'm a sex-therapist and a large part of my inspiration comes from my clients. So I've got my own practice and spend a large part of my days talking to men and women about sex and their specific problems.

I sometimes wonder if authors writing about murder and such feel the urge to comit one themselves. I actually don't see how. Writing erotica on the other hand, for me can be a true pleasure. Describing sexual activities in all kinds of ways and situations in the end just makes me wet. Knowing I share my fantasies with others who get just as excited is a huge sexual thrill. Picturing myself in the situations I write about quite often makes me very horny and let's be honest, what's wrong with that. So I do sometimes have to 'do' something about it and get myself off, before I go about other activities. I hope my fans will let me know how my stories affect them. Thank you, time's up, kisses C.C.
