What's the story behind your latest book?
It is about a sixty something lady who finds fame through here love of cooking. It follows here highs and lows for a week, She loves here husband more than the fame but cooking becomes a close second.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I find Facebook, twitter and email contacts are a great way to start.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I was born in a backstreet terrace house in a under developed area of Northwest England. We moved around once or twice as i grew up in places full of stone cottages and slightly rural areas. I love the countryside and when i write story's i try to write it within that setting.
When did you first start writing?
December 2013, I decided to give it a go. If it makes a person smile, Do something good, Make them feel something through my writing then i will be happy.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Being able to write out what is in my mind and then sharing it with the world. what can be better than that?
What do your fans mean to you?
I value there reviews and treasure there honesty.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like to listen to all different types of music and go to watch films. I love independent films.
What is your writing process?
I sit at the laptop and just write what comes from my mind at that time, Then i create the rest of the story from what i have written at first.
How do you approach cover design?
I take pictures in my spare time and i go through my archive and see what i could use for my cover images.
Describe your desk
I have a candle holder on one side and my coin collection tubs on the other side, My phone next to me and a space for my coffee.
What are you working on next?
I am writing poetry and also working on some photo books
Why create and share?
I think it is important to create and share your thoughts to give others a understanding of how everyone feel. You never know who you can inspire.
