Interview with C.M. Thomas

How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I find almost every ebook I read in Ibooks.
If for some reason one of my favorite authors don't have a book published in Ibooks I use Kindle instead
How do you approach cover design?
I found a great cover designer and she created a amazing cover, from the details about the book I provided her.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
1) Dragons lair - by Chantal Fernando (book 1 in The wind dragons MC) I love this book, the whole series really. It's the perfect combination of crime and love.
2) Release me - by J. Kenner (Stark series) Great love story, which has it all. I think I've read this book 10 times maybe more.
3) Weekend Surrender - by Lori King
4) Books by Nicole Edwards - she is one of my favorite authors, I can't pick out just one of her books.
5) Ravage MC serie and spin off - by Ryan Michelle
What do you read for pleasure?
Mostly contemporary romance novels and books about MC (biker clubs). I love the combination of both crime and love in a book.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I read on my Iphone or Ipad
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My husband, he told me to try it. I've wanted to write a book for a long time and he told me to try and see if I had the ideas to finish one book.
I did - I've written Her deepest fear already, book number two in the series is coming together and hopefully will be ready to publish in the spring 2018. And I have the ideas for at least two more books in that series.
What are you working on next?
Book two in Her deepest series
Who are your favorite authors?
Ryan Michelle
Nicole Edwards
Lori King
Nina Levine
Lila Rose

Those are just some of them - I read a lot so I have many favorite authors.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I work and spend time with my husband and our family
Describe your desk
I have a lot of papers on my desk, I brain storm a lot. So I've different pieces of papers to each book.
