For me, writing is meditation. It clears the mind of all things unsaid and allows a path for clearer thought, inspirations and deep personal inner wisdom. I write to help myself and if someone reads my work and is helped by it, then that makes it even better.

For me, fans of my work are part of my soul tribe. We share a common bond because my thoughts and ideas are not easily understood by many. So when I find someone who truly appreciates the love that I put into my writing, they are not mere fans, but quickly become close friends and family.

My latest work is titled after my business name, "The Naked Path" and will be available for preorder soon as I am currently putting the final touches and edits into place. It's a fantasy novella based on a true story of my own personal childhood, dreams, visions and hopes for the future. It's a story about walking this pathway to nakedness, to uncovering my true self in a world that would have me be anything but.

Once this work is complete I will begin work on another new book, working title, What I wished I'd Taught My Children Before Graduating on Life, Love, Money and the Pursuit of Happiness. So stick around as I learn, grow and share my life and the beauty that I find within it! The more I evolve the better my writing becomes.

All things natural and naked! I love nature! I love the sweet melodies of the bird's songs each morning! I love the sun's rays beaming down upon my face, wrapping me in warm hugs. I love the breeze gently kissing my skin. I love the feel of the earth beneath my feet and in my hands.

Spending time with loved ones, gardening, baking and always within everything I do, working a little magic!!

I began my writing career around the age of 8 with little poems on what Love meant to me which helped me to overcome the sexual and physical abuse that I had endured since around the age of 3. The first story that I had ever written didn't come about until I was in Junior High. I remember working on it feverishly during French class every day. My teacher allowed me to work on it during her class as she was eager to proof and edit it for me. She had become enthralled in the story that I had titled, "The Ring of Lies" and strongly urged me to finish it. Sadly, once the year had finished and summer came, I never finished the work.

Each time I begin a new story, I have to have a special brand new notebook and pen and I must be outside!

I've built a garden hut and my friend helped me to tile a patio table. Just a simple table, the laptop, notebook, pen and the open air. I keep a feeder for hummingbirds close by and have planted rose bushes, an apple tree and a Oleander bush nearby as well.

I grew up in what was once considered a small town in the heart of Mississippi. My grandmother instilled within me the love of writing at a very early age. However, it was the adversities that I faced growing up, never fitting in anywhere and the level of abuse that I endured that greatly influenced my writing style, the topics that I choose to write about, as well as the level of personal inner work and growth that I have done over the previous years and continue to work on.

Sitting in my room, at the tender age of 8 practicing my cursive writing skills and pondering on what Love really means. Writing poems about what Love meant to me enabled me to question why I was being abused and to overcome and rise above that abuse with each new sunrise.
