Interview with Carmon J. VanOverbake

What are you working on next?
I am working on the third book of my Trilogy, for Blue Planets. Hidden Planet, is the second book, which is finished, soon to be made into an e-book, and Noah, Lost and Found, is the third book of the Trilogy, still a work in progress.
When did you first start writing?
My writing career started after I confided in my daughter about these ideas in my head. I had turned 77 years old. She told me to go for it, put those ideas on paper. My handwriting was hard to read so my wife bought me a computer. To this day it has never been hooked up to the internet. My daughter joined me as co-author, by adding the details that make an interesting read. She had authored, Dove and Cooper, so had the experience to guide me.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
My very first story is Blue Planets
Describe your desk
My wife bought me a small antique desk that is just big enough for my computer. I often take my laptop to the backyard to write, and spend more time watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks than I do writing.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The aroma of fresh morning coffee, and if the sun is shining, it's going to be a great day.
How do you approach cover design?
I use an artist's rendition from Mark's List, as close to my story as possible.
