I first started writing when I was twelve. Life sucked, ya know? No one cared about a child's opinion. On paper is the only place I had a voice.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing for me is the release. Your characters always leave pieces- traces- of you. It's self expression. Everyone deserves that. And the equal joy is giving other people release. I hope you can get lost in my books, and find a beautiful world of your own.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans mean the world to me. I want to create a world for them to get lost in.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My little brother. He's four, and adores his sister.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Drawing and reading. My life is constant remedies of getting lost.
What is your writing process?
My writing process is I carry a pen and notebook everywhere. I find inspiration in everyday things.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in small towns, and it taught me that everyone and everywhere has secrets. That taught me to always hit them with a surprise ending.
