My favorite authors I'd have to say areCassandra Clare, James Patterson, and P.C/Kristin Cast.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Hmm....well of course getting up to write or work on a story, but also working on my music, producing some beats, or just spending time with my friends and family motivate me.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Usually you can find me reading, doing homework, or recording a song or making beats and stuff like that. Though more than occasionally I like to join my brothers in a few 35 rounds of Zombies on Black Ops II......we all have that guilty pleasure.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Wattpad. I was on wattpad and came across this book called Invisible, it was great and I was like wow other people other than famous authors can actually write and the author who wrote that book, her second book Intangible is on here, so then I was introduced to it
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote, that I can remember was some story about how monsters under the bed attacked kids every night and teddy bears and toys are what protected them. It was in fifth grade and I still have it
What is your writing process?
1). I make sure the chapter or story is outlined. 2). I have a drink and some snack right before I write. 3). I close my eyes and become the character and that helps me feel how they and describe how intense a situation is. 6). I let some instrumental music play in the background at a low volume. 7). I write.
How do you approach cover design?
To me, the cover design should reflect either; a situation in the book, a main character of the book, or what that character focuses on. Also in a series, the cover should not reveal any foreshadowing in the book, I mean what if Cassandra Clare had put up a picture of Sebastian/Jonathan as her cover on City of Glass? You would get a clue to who he was and ruin the surprise
What do you read for pleasure?
For pleasure, it varies between The Mortal Instrument series, The Infernal Devices series, The House of Night series, or one of James Patterson's detective books. But to be honest I read Mortal Instruments or Infernal Devices or House of Night fan fictions more than the books since I've finished them all.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
iPad. Only because I got it for free so it's all I have.
What do your fans mean to you?
Now I don't have thousands yet of course because I am just starting to put my works up so everybody I know from Sacramento and a few other cities in Cali, but to me fans are the most important thing because they tell you when you've made a mistake, what to fx, and what you did right. They truly help you get better
What are you working on next?
A series on Angels though it will be some time before they appear on here, now a vampire and prequel series, those will be here soon
