Interview with Tristan Parrott

When did you first start writing?
In the summer of 2012 I started writing a few short stories, and over time have tried to make them decent. Now I feel ready to write all the time!
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Well, I had a friend wanting to be an author. She told me that maybe I should publish some of what I worked on!
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Being able to sense and imagine the scenes in my head as it happens!
What do your fans mean to you?
At the time of this interview I have no fans, now however if I do have fans and this is outdated, my fans to me would make me happy, and I would treat them as respectful readers, and consider them like a family to me!
What are you working on currently?
I am currently working on book 1 of The Serentian Chronicles, a series about dragons and owls!
Who are your favorite authors?
Kathryn Lasky, Erin Hunter, Tui T. Sutherland, and a few others.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My 2 dogs that always cuddle with me and play around!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I often read, and research, and play some video games!
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Guardians of Ga'hoole book 1: the capture. It immensely gathered my imagination, and caused me to start researching owls and other birds. It also helped when I was severely depressed!
What do you read for pleasure?
Halo Novels, and basically any fantasy series that I take fancy to.
