Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the middle east but have a very international background and have moved around a lot. I never know how to answer the question, "Where are you from?". I prefer to just say I'm a global citizen. I would say I try to write for anyone and everyone. We are all different but we are all the same. Everyone is seeking or chasing something and wishes to be happy.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I write because I find it therapeutic but I also write for others who might enjoy reading my work.
Describe your desk
My desk at home always has my laptop, a journal, supplies I love from all over the world and a few things that make me smile and create a positive vibe. Example: my salt lamp, real flowers, hand-made gifts from others.
At work, I have a similar set up but it includes a docking station and of course is more 'corporate'
What's the story behind your latest book?
My plan is to publish a children's book for adults - for the people who have no time to read but love pictures and cartoons and humour but need to be inspired as they take their next step wherever that might be.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I work in the corporate world and writing is actually a hobby of mine. I also DJ for fun, love to cook and volunteer as a science fair judge.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
How do you approach cover design?
I pick artists who are unknown but have talent and can create something that resonates with me.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
SURGE - I know all 3 authors and the book is practical about taking action on your ideas
OH, the places you'll GO - this is meant to be for children but I feel it is a great reminder that leadership journeys will have ups and downs, as an adult I always keep a copy on my desk
Heart and Brain - an awkward yeti collection , great book cartoons that feed your spirit and contribute to your happiness advantage!
The happiness advantage - because everyone needs to know what this can do for them
FOUR - divergent yet 'not perfect', my favourite character in all the stories tied to this collection. and he is dauntless.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Convincing the next generation that this world is still worth saving.
