Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Greater New Orleans area. It influenced my setting choice because I think it's a very interesting place, and I know the area pretty well. It's hard to write about a place you've never been.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I'm a house husband and I needed something to help fill my day out.
Who are your favorite authors?
Yoshihara Reiko, H.P. Lovecraft, and Sherrilyn Kenyon.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I love to play table top RPGs, Board games, video games, and I read manga.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I have a nook HD and I feel like it's the smoothest reading experience I've had with e-books.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I like expressing and being creative. It let's me get things out in a constructive way.
What do your fans mean to you?
It probably sounds cliche, but an author is nothing without their fans.
What do you read for pleasure?
Boy's love is probably the biggest genre I read, both manga and light novels. I also read some romance and horror.
When did you first start writing?
I started really writing in middle school starting with fan fiction and short stories.
How do you approach cover design?
I like to use a little symbolism and foreshadowing for what the story will be. I also try to feature who will be our leading character.
