Interview with Dan Embers

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Being able to get my messages and feeling out in the world.
What do your fans mean to you?
It brings me great joy every time someone gives me a compliment on something I wrote.
What are you working on next?
Who are your favorite authors?
Believe it or not I enjoy writing much more than reading. When I do read it is usually science or spirituality related. But if I had to put one out there right now,I would say Deepak Chopra.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My family.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Video games, and homeschooling.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Google, Ebay, and friends.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. I was in sixth grade and it was a short story about a farmer and his dog. I turned it in as an assignment and it came up missing, never to be seen again.
What is your writing process?
I just sit down and write. I do not have a reason, or process.
How do you approach cover design?
With my wife's help. Best thing a writer can do is marry an artist.
What do you read for pleasure?
The Encyclopedia.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Personal computer.
Describe your desk
It is handmade by me and built in. It is cherry stained wood. There are lot's of trinkets, papers, and gadgets all over.
