Interview with Danielle Folts

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love losing myself in another world, and making everything my own. It's an escape from reality
What are you working on next?
I'm currently working on a submissive and dominant novella.
Who are your favorite authors?
Tara Sue Me, Sarah Dessen, and Alyson Noel
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The fact that if I don't, I won't be able to make it through high school to get into a pre-law program. I have to make sure I get my law degree and if I don't get out of bed, that won't happen.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I read, and I work most of the time. There are days when I just watch movies or spend the day with my grandparents, though.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I read the summary, like most people. I'm a sucker for a good ebook or any other book.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I don't remember the first story I ever wrote, as I've been writing for about seven years.
What is your writing process?
I outline the story, then go with the flow. If I don't like the idea, I scrap it and start again.
How do you approach cover design?
I've never published a book, so I'm not sure how I would go about a cover design.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My iPhone
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in sixth grade when I had nothing to do, so I just wrote short drabbles to pass the time.
