Interview with Dominus Truculentus

What's the story behind your latest book?
I just wrote and published the ebook of poetry "Just papering over the cracks" it is the usual collection of verses, from the garden of eden up to the devastating "cracks" all about Italy's and my fight against the Mafia, a lot of my poems are linked to my spoken word videos, so you get an extra feel for the poems.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have always wrote poems in some form or another, currently I use my writings to flush out the poison inside of me, all the anger flows into words, because we have destroyed this planet and destroyed ourselves.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I think it is too early to say that, but I get my verses and curses into different computers thanks to smashwords.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Joy is a very strange word I am not usually attached to, my writings are basically me fighting for survival, my survival is not always a priority, so surviving to me is not full of joy!
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything if they exist, the want me to carry on, so it will be!
What are you working on next?
I already have two more collections of poetry coming together, I am also adding my back catalogue of eBooks to smashwords.
Who are your favorite authors?
Anybody who writes with their heart and not those that write just to get rich.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The cats wake me up in the morning, I get out of bed to feed them and stop them pooping in the bath tub, good enough reason to get up?
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Working, eating, drinking lots of strange coloured water, listening to music and drinking, travelling, but writing is always in my mind.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
word of mouth!
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
It was about bananas coming down the stairs, really exciting!
What is your writing process?
Just think really hard and get the ideas down on paper before I think of something else! Sometimes I think of a theme for the whole ebook and then I add twelve probable titles and then I expand them.

This is the world we live in full of lies and conspiracies, nothing is what it seems, after reading papering over the cracks the reader can now see through the thin badly manufactured wallpaper that covers over the real truth. The story did not end there because if the reader decides to join in and demand the truth to be shown, the worlds governments would not be pleased.
