As a young boy I read all the James Bond novels up to that time. Later in life I devoured any book by Frank Peritti. Love Hemingway, like Steven King and his plot twists, have read my own books too many times to like them anymore.
What do you read for pleasure?
The Psalms. My love for the Psalms led me to writer "Psalm Stories."
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I like solid books, but often read of my iPad and my wife's Kindle.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Grew up in California; San Diego, outside the San Fernando Valley, and Northern California from Red Bluff to Old Shasta.
When did you first start writing?
At age 16 I actually completed an essay for my high school English class, and somehow got an A! Surprised me so much I started writing about everything I could think of, including my English teacher's fantasy love life. Was soon asked to become part of my high school's newspaper staff.
What's the story behind your latest book?
"To the Depths and Back" is a collaboration between Rev. Bev Weesner and I. I takes her classic poem and turns it into a timeless story. See it at www.dwbookstore.com .
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Couldn't get recognized or accepted by established publishers, so I went indie.

Having the finished work in my hands and handing to someone else.
