What inspires me to get out of bed each day is my love for writing, and my kids. I am also inspired by a rap group Twiztid. Their music is an inspiration as well as them being an independent group shows that with hard work anything is possible.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I am not writing I spend my time listening to music, promoting my books and working on my hobby, drawing.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I wrote was a sci-fi story about a native american reservation that was surrounded by woods that were a portal to a different world. I submitted it to a magazine but it was rejected.
What is your writing process?
I have to be in a quiet space, headphones in listening to some of my favorite horrorcore rappers, some of my go-to artists are Twiztid,Boondox, ICP, Blaze Ya Dead Homie. I hand write my first and second draft, than type up my final draft.
How do you approach cover design?
I have a good friend who is also a graphic designer, Rissa Dawn. When I come up with a concept I bounce my ideas off her to see what she thinks.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
1.) Cujo By Stephen King
I like this book a lot because I like how he lets you know what is running through Cujo's mind throughout the book.
2.) Christine By Stephen King
I like this book because not all monsters are creatures or people.

What do you read for pleasure?
I read mostly horror books for pleasure but I am always open to read any genre.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Reading, Pa. I don't feel like the town itself influenced my writing but my childhood has been a huge influence on my writing. I was a lonely child and found an escape in books which caused me to love books and writing. I now write about different kinds of humans usually bad ones because I was surrounded by different forms of darkness growing up and as an adult.
