Interview with Thomas Bowman

What are you working on next?
I'm currently working on a full novel of Jack the werewolf assassin. I also have plans for a new book about Tibetan lore.
Who are your favorite authors?
Caitlin Kittredge and Patrick Lee are two sensational authors.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My kids, they are my life. All that I do and all that I am are because of them.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Kayaking, I love to get into nature and just lose myself
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Recommendation mostly, I'm also on GoodReads and have found wonderful books there.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I remember writing in fifth grade a short about a tank and a bank robbery. It was the same story, but the plot eludes me now.
What is your writing process?
I sit, I write, till it's done. Then I sit and read, make notes then edit, then..if needed I rewrite
Describe your desk
That's easy, I don't have one. I write when and where I can. I've written moving freight across the country in a tractor trailer. In parks, on the beach, restaurants, you name it.
When did you first start writing?
I've been writing on and off my whole life, but I've gotten more serious and trying to publish more in my later years
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Sharing my stories with people who enjoy them. I try to write things that people no about, but in a different way. I hope they bring joy to anyone who reads them.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read many different things. I've read particle physics for the non-scientist, The Iliad by Homer, and other odd things as well as The Breach by Patrick Lee and books like that
