Interview with Dev Khanduja

When did you first start writing?
I started writing when I was in class 3rd. I wrote many short stories and poems which I never published.
What's the interesting fact behind your latest book?
I wrote this book during the 5 holidays that I got for my Class X board exams.
Who is your role model as an author?
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is my ideal as an author. I love his style of writing which is archaic yet fascinating.

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
A new day, a new beginning and fresh opportunities inspire me to get out of bed every day.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I usually spend my leisure time in reading, shooting and watching movies.
How do you approach cover design?
A cover page tells a lot about its content and greatly influences the psychology of the readers. I spend a lot of hours designing the perfect cover pages for my books.
Who are your favorite fictional characters?
Sherlock Holmes and James Bond.
Who has been the most influential person in your life?
My mother has been the most influential person in your life who has shaped the course of my destiny.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing in itself is the joy for me.
