Interview with J.B Rosenberg

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
There are a few. Before I had this book published, many of our friends would call me individually to ask for my help, so this book allows me to leverage time. The other is seeing that you actually create someone of value that people are both willing to pay for and leave reviews about!
What do your fans mean to you?
They mean a lot. Taking into consideration that my books have 1 main focus - saving people money on their travels, knowing that I managed to help someone go on vacation and come back with "leftover" money in their bank account gives me a great sense of contribution to the society.
What are you working on next?
I am working on short "Vacation Guru's Guide to Budget Travel in......" for New Zealand, Costa Rica, Thailand and Israel. These will all be short guides and focused specifically on tips within each country. Mainly, these books will be used to promote my current book.
Who are your favorite authors?
In my genre, I like "Nomadic Matt ", Matt Kepnes. I also enjoy Malcolm Gladwell, David Fischman and Robert Cialdini
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I can't seem to sleep longer than 7.5-8hrs, so I MUST get out of bed.
Well, all my activities I do during the day are all focused on creating a lifestyle that will allow me to travel more. Traveling is more than enough reason to get out of bed
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
exercise and other business ventures
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Facebook groups and Amazon recommendations
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes..this one :-)
What is your writing process?
I try to get in 500 words a day, since I am involved in other ventures as well
How do you approach cover design?
Design is my weakness, I hire professionals with many many many 5 star reviews
What are your five favorite books, and why?

Leadership (Rudy Guliani)
The Secret of the 7 seeds (David Fischman)
4 hour work week (Tim Ferris)

Non fiction and now many books on indie publishing to get better at writing
What is your e-reading device of choice?

What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
