What is your writing process?
Have fun and allow your imagination to flow. I believe you don't need to get it right you just need to get it going.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I think The BFG is still putting dreams into my head.
How do you approach cover design?
The cover design should reflect in an instant what the book is about. It should be simple and clear, like for example for my Knight Blazer books in an instant from the title and the picture you can see it is fantasy.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Though it may not be the most comfortable but currently it seems to be on the iPhone, so ibooks and kindle.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Talking with others which seems more opportunities seem to open up. Though I am spending some time looking at social media marketing techniques.
Describe your desk
My desk could be at the british library, costa coffee or any place I can get a wi-fi connection ;)
When did you first start writing?
From a youngster I was writing short stories for fun, just playing with my imagination rather than considering it as writing.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest book I am currently working on is Knight Blazer - Defender of the Realm - Book 2. It is a continuation on Raiden's and Arisha journey together. Raiden not believing whether he is the Knight Blazer and if he is able to unleash the power of the Sword of Esoncia and Arisha saddened by the death of a Wise One decides to diverge from going to Esoncia. What will they face this time?
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I love adventure, I love action and I felt I had never been able to express my creativity, so I choose to follow my heart and what made me happy.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
It has allowed me to share my creativity to others.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The real message behind my adventure stories that I can share with children and adults so that they can have faith and believe in themselves and overcome the fear of the uncertainty, trusting and following their hearts.
