Interview with Hannah Cassidy

What motivated you to become an indie author?
I'm a much-published nonfiction writer and have books out under my real name, Donna Albrecht. I went indie with this book because I believe my book will find an enthusiastic audience among indie-minded readers.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I'm appalled by the politicians and others who believe they have a God-given right to control women's bodies and who are passing legislation to that end.

In this novel, I explore a dystopian but current society where these laws have been carried to an extreme and the lengths women and the men who love women will go to to protect their right to determine what happens in their sexual and reproductive lives.
What are you working on next?
My next book has dead bodies (off-page), a deadly but little-known poison, murder plans, and exploring relationships. Almost done with the first draft!
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The thing I like the best about writing fiction is being able to create characters and situations and explore how they interact. And let's face it, it can be a great way to work through some of my issues at the same time!
