Interview with Edward Anthony

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing is that it's an art where you can truly and freely express yourself. It's very therapeutic.
What are you working on next?
I have several projects in the works, but to narrow it down, my third novel, Rebecca, is set to release in mid-January. I'm currently working on the sequel, and looking to write a Martial Arts/Interracial/Romance.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The opportunity to be a better person than I was yesterday.
When did you first start writing?
I've been writing since I was a kid; estimating somewhere between the ages of 7-9. I started professionally in 2015.
What's the story behind your latest book?
It's a continuation of the titular character, Rebecca. The story covers her years from a senior in high school to adulthood, whereas the first book covers her life as a 9th grader.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I love having creative freedom. To able to write about what I want to write about.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I usually receive emails or notifications from online book retailers.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My main reading device is my Kindle App.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
It has given me another avenue to promote and sell my books.
Name some of your favorite genres to write.
I consider myself a versatile writer, but to name a few: Action/Adventure, Crime Fiction, Drama, Suspense and Thrillers.
What books do you like to read?
I like to read Action/Adventure, Crime Fiction, Drama/Suspense, Thrillers, some Sci-Fi, and Non-Fiction.
