Being blessed to live another day. We are not promised a tomorrow. When I wakes up, grumpy or half asleep, I am thankful to be alive.

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I do all of my writing on my iPad. It's also a great device for reading, watching videos, and playing games...like Minecraft.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Facebook. It's a great place to find new authors and ebook sales.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Please, I can barely remember what I did this morning. The story I do remember writing was a screenplay. It was the first time I ever received critiques. I had a lot to learn. I still do.
What is your writing process?
Dream (seriously), one sentence chapter outline, paragraph outline, first draft...
How do you approach cover design?
It's hard. When I have an image in my head, it's hard for me to explain it to an illustrator. It's something I am still learning. Hats off to authors who can illustrate his/her own story.

I LOVE Christian Romance/Suspense. After working on a story, I treat myself to a new book...or two...or more.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My iPad. It's with me at all times.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Facebook. I'm new to marketing, so it's a work in progress. I do plan to design a t-shirt.
Describe your desk
Umm...messy. My youngest and his friends spend time in my office. I do most of my writing on the couch, in my spot.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Although I am working with a publisher for my first book, I felt the Lord wanted me to keep moving. So, will be doing several projects on my own. I'm very excited about it.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I really haven't been here long enough, but I can say that Smashwords has helped me get my book and information out to so many places. I'm looking forward to when I can truly answer this question. For now, I'm thankful that Smashwords is available for artist, and it's extremely easy to use.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Glorifying God. And if I can slip one more in, it'd be listening to young readers talk about the story. The book is no longer words on a screen or page, but vivid movies in the mind of the reader.
What are you working on next?
The next story fits in the fantasy genre. The story I'm working on right now is another sci-fi. Both manuscripts are written for 9-13 year olds, and they are easy-to-read.
