I usually write down the basics of my story in a note book with character descriptions and which characters will interact with each other and in what way. Then I write the story as I go, reading over each chapter when I am done to see if it makes sense and follows my story line.

I don't remember the first story I ever read but I remember not starting to read recreationally until I was a teen and it was Sweet Valley High novels..lol

I want a cover that speaks to people in some way. With Scarred Hearts I wanted to portray the way my characters were feeling and give a little bit of intrigue to my readers.

I Don't have favorite books but I have certain authors I will read religiously.

Romance, Paranormal Romance, Crime, Time slip novels and ghost stories.

I have my iPad Air which I love :)

I grew up in Dublin Ireland so for me it plays a roll in my writing especially when I choose a place or I am describing somewhere, I usually think of somewhere back home.I live in Southern California now so I have plenty of places to influence me.

I have always wanted to write a book it has been one of my life goals, I started writing years ago but never finished a story and scrapped most of them but in 2013 I decided to complete a book even if it was just for myself, to say that I did it. Now I have it finished and I am writing the sequel.

My book Scared Hearts, is about an eighteen year old girl (Bailey) who finds her best friend dead after committing suicide. She leaves town to go live with her dad whom she hasn't seen or heard from in two years and tries to get over the loss of her friend and adjust to a new life without any familiar faces to help her. Bailey meets twins Knox and Max Porter and sparks fly with one of them but it's not easy for either of them to be in a relationship as they are both dealing with hurt, pain and anger. However, things get better and sparks turn to flame but with every good romance it's not as easy as that.

I wanted to put a story out there that would allow people to escape their daily lives for a little while and enjoy something that is easy to read but keeps you wanting more. I chose to go the indie route because for me it allows me to work at my own pace and stay true to myself and my readers.

My fans mean the world to me, without them I wouldn't be able to keep writing because it's nice to be able to write for someone who enjoys what I do as much as me.
