I use a variety of reading devices. I read on my phone when I'm working outside of my home. I use a nook or kindle when I travel, unless I'm reading a paper book that I want to finish. And the only time I read on a computer screen is either when I'm writing or editing.
When did you first start writing?
I first put my imagination to use when I was in grade school. I didn't take writing seriously until I was in my twenties though.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I had been trying to go vegetarian for a number of years when I stumbled on the 22 Day Revolution. I bought the book, went shopping and started my vegan journey with amazing success. After the 22 days were over I began to experiment with my own recipes. With some guidance and help from a life coach I decided to put a few of the easiest recipes I had into a vegan cookbook of my own. By no means am I a chef, but I've found that with a plant based diet, pantry staples, seasoning and some creativity, I could make simple and affordable vegan dishes that also tasted good!
What are you working on next?
I'm working on several vegan cookbooks. Like most people, I eat everyday, so I have plenty to share.
What do you read for pleasure?
When I read I like to escape.
