Published 2014-11-24.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Taking care of my 2 little boys! They keep me busy!
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I started with fan-fiction. But, I recall writing episodes of Buffy and Angel with my friends on the back of our bus. That was in the sixth and seventh grades.
What is your writing process?
Well I think with most it starts with an idea. But, for me to be an effective writer I need 2 main things. 1. I create a playlist of music that is unique to the story I am writing. And 2. everything starts with a quote. Gets my head in the right place.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first book I was ever fully engaged in was The Lord of the Flies. I would say it showed me not everything has a happy ending.
How do you approach cover design?
I out sourced that baby! When in doubt go with a professional!
What do you read for pleasure?
Anything romance, fantasy(of any kind), and sifi!
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I honestly love Audible but I also use my Kindle and Iphone.
Describe your desk
At the moment it's Starbucks and my bed...
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I attended the Indie Book Fest 2014 knowing I wanted to publish but not knowing how. When I saw the world of indies I was sold 100%.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I think getting to share the world/s in my head!
What are you working on next?
I am working on Book two on the Lightning Witch Trilogy and Push and Pull, Book 1 of The Vampire Favors series.

Seven years ago, Addison Fitzpatrick found herself in a bit of a bind. In true Addison-fashion, she'd angered a drug dealer; she may have “forgotten” to pay him. Just when it was time to pay the piper, she was offered a way out by an unlikely being. Cannon Blackwood, master of vampires, made her an offer she couldn't refuse. Now, Addison owes Cannon three favors.
