Interview with Emmy Jade

What are you working on next?
Well, right now I'm working on finishing up my first book, and a few short stories. I have more then a few projects going on.
What is your writing process?
I'm not sure if I really have one. I tend to write best when inspiration hits. I write the idea first on my phone, then transfer it to my laptop, and finally my a copy on paper. I let a few ideas gather, and go back and try to see if all the ideas fit into one story, or if I have several story ideas. Some ideas never get used or get turned into a poetry style project. I post those on wattpad from time to time. Others I work on from time to time when I have other good ideas to add to it. Of course, I always have to write to music.
How do you approach cover design?
I like a picture that is going to aid in the story somehow. I tend to google lots of images that will help me in writing of the story, so I sort of know what a cover will look like once it's finished. I make a few mock-ups, and then the best one, or the one that feels most like the story in image form is what I will end up using.
What do you read for pleasure?
Of course!
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle. But I also have a nook. And my local library has the option to check books out in ebook format as well.
