Good Afternoon Ethan, it's great to have you! How are you doing today?
I'm doing great man, thanks for asking! It's great to be here! Thanks for having me.
We know that you've become quite the busy-bee, lately, can you tell us everything that you are working on?
Haha, "busy-bee" is almost an understatement at this point. I'm gearing up for the release of "The Edge of Nowhere" and after that, I'm taking some time off. When I come back, I'm planning on diving head first back into my music, and working on new songs.
That sounds like alot to have on your plate at one time. How do you manage both worlds like that?
It can be a bit overwhelming at times, but it's not really that difficult. I'm not out here running around like my head's cut off, but I'm never bored. There's always something to do. If, I have music and books going on at the same time, then I'll work on music for a week, or until I start to get frustrated, then I switch over to writing. It makes the time go by a lot faster, but its also really taxing. I like to dedicate 100% of myself to everything I do, so when I have two things going on...I have to somehow dedicate 200%. It can get pretty helter skelter, if I'm not careful.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
What's you main passion? Music or being an Author?
Definitely music. It's what makes me...me. I've worked really hard to get to the point where if people hear or see my name, they automatically think "musician." Books are just a hobby for me. I'm not looking to be super rich, or famous, from my books. That's not to say that if I did become rich and famous from my books, I wouldn't be stoked. But I've invested so much time and money, into music, that if I got famous, I would be completely satisfied with the result.
Oh, wow. Do you see any more books coming from you, exclusively, after "The Edge of Nowhere?"
Not for the foreseeable future. After this, I may co-write with a few of my favorite writers, but for the most part, this will be the last one for a long time. Maybe when I'm an old man, and write my autobiography of my cryptic adventures as a musician. That hasn't been done before, right? Haha.
What are your expectations for how "The Edge of Nowhere" is recieved?
Hmm. The keys to the city. My name on the welcome sign coming into my home town. A 15 foot tall marbled statue of me fighting a lion in the city park. Just very reasonable, and realistic things at this point in my life. Haha.
Haha! Very funny! Well I wish you the greatest success in your books, and your music! Thank you so much for your contributions to us here at the publishing house. Any last words?
Thanks man! It's been a pleasure, and just keep supporting me. That's all I can ask for.
