Describe your desk
My desk is clean except for my phone, earbuds, and ever-present drink, but there are colorful pictures on the walls..
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the Southeast US where pearl-clutching is the norm, so I started writing to express all those erotic thoughts that I couldn't talk about in public.
When did you first start writing?
I've always been a natural writer. I remember winning a couple of awards in elementary school. I didn't publish anything until 2011, however.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
When people read my work and enjoy it or can relate to it, I feel like I'm not so alone in the world. That is incredibly satisfying.
Who are your favorite authors?
Talia Hibbert, Tessa Bailey, Saxon James, Eden Finley, Joseph Tonlet, just to name a few.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
LOL, the need to go to work. But seriously, creating things drives me. Whether it be visual art, writing, or music, creativity is my life.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I love dabbling in arts and crafts. Colored Pencils are my favorite medium because they're so portable and don't make a mess, but I've recently gotten into acrylic pouring and alcohol inks.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I'm a Goodreads addict. I always look at lists of what is launching month to month and go from there.
What is your writing process?
Generally, an idea will hit me upside the head and I'll HAVE to put it on paper. Most of my writing is short stories or erotic shorts, so it's pretty instantly gratifying.
What do you read for pleasure?
I love romance, especially the super-erotic, boundary pushing kind that has a solid plot and solid characters. Jade West's Sugar Daddies is a great example of that. It's not just porn-with-plot. It's an amazing story that happens to be intensely erotic.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My phone! The Pocketbook app is great.
