Interview with Christian Bianchi

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The thought of something new happening in the world.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading, spending time with friends and family, playing games.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I seek writing that is similar to my favorite authors and follow the breadcrumbs.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Not particularly, but I hope to find it someday and improve upon it.
What is your writing process?
Bottom-up or Top-down dependent on the mood I'm in when I start writing.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I remember reading "Scary Stories to tell in the Dark" by Alvin Shwartz when I was just going into elementary school. I guess it left an impression.
How do you approach cover design?
It has to emulate the feeling the story gives the reader, not necessarily pop off the shelf.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Being a creator is something I've always wanted for myself but every avenue I've pursued left me wanting until I settled on writing.
What are you working on next?
I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise but it's a tale I've been wanting to put on paper for years.
Describe your desk
A violent mess of Coffee mugs, gifts from friends, paperweights and electronic hardware.
