It all depends on the story. For The Promise Fulfilled, I was more of a planner and I used a outline. For my Writing Process, I like to write a draft, do a few revision drafts, and do a final draft. I like to listen to music as I write. It gives me creative ideas when I write a scene.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes ! The first writing story I ever read was On Writing by Stephen King.
I was a newbie writer then, and I took a writing class at the library. This woman had the book, cause she was an inspired writer too. I got the book from the library, and it really had an impact on me. Stephen King told about the writing process, and revisions. And as a new writer with little knowledge about the writing world, I learned a lot and his book jumped started my writers knowledge.
How do you approach cover design?
Great question. I have a eagle's eye when it comes to good cover design. Whenever I make a cover, it has to be of good quality and taste. I believe a good cover really speaks to a reader, and tells about your story before the reader picks up your book.
What was your last book you read, and did you like it?
The last book I read was Howls Moving Castle by Diana Jones. I seen the movie, and I didn't really like it. I wanted to see if the book was better, so I got the book and read it. The book is 100% better then the movie. A lot of people have said that, and it's true. There's a lot of scenes in the book that should of been in the movie.
What do you read for pleasure?
Fan fiction. Anime. I go on fan fiction.net and read anime shows and movies that interest me.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Deff I pad. I tried I phone I book, but I pad is a lot bigger to read books. It's more cooler.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Deff having my book on I books. That's really cool. I don't have to drag my physical copy, but have it on my I book/ I pad. Also, wattpad is very effective too because you gain a writers audience.
Describe your desk
It's more of a tent xD my "desk" is a bunk bed, and I have the top. I have my space up there. Including my laptop where I write my books, and my I phone- I pad. All my folders and notes. I have my cup of tea and coffee on the side board, and I'm ready to go !
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
What influenced my writing is watching Romantic Comendy Anime in English Dub. And listening to instrumental music. And whatever inspires me.
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in the 6th grade. It wasn't anything serious, it was this idea of a crossover between Narnia and a old Korean Drama. What I had was this draft in books. A few years later, I changed the story into a drama script. And that was my first camp April NanoWrimo in 2013. But my writing wasn't at its best.
So I decided to enter Nov. 2013 Nano, for a another idea... The Promise Fulfilled. like able or not will never see the light of day, but I'm happy The Promise Fulfilled is my first published book.
I'm planning on continue writing my next book on Romance Novels :)
What's the story behind your latest book?
Theres no story behind it. ^_^ The Promise Fulfilled is fiction, and needed a sequel. My version is 7 years laters when Chihiro is in high school, and whether Haku really did mean his Promise.
