Interview with Robert W Fisk

What are you working on next?
I am drafting out the next Richard West adventure where he is asked by Barbara van Buren to find her missing brother.
Who are your favorite authors?
Nevil Shute has to be up there, with John le Carre and Rick Mofina.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
New day new adventure.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Travel, teaching, gardening, taking and editing photographs.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I just browse. No searches, no promotions, just graze various sites until a phrase, a picture, an author catches my attention.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. The first story I wrote was about a train robbery. I was abut seven or eight. It filled two whole exercise books. Mr Egan took it to mark and I never saw it again. My Dad and Mum read it and said it was a good effort.
How do you approach cover design?
I spent six months on a university course where cover design was a major topic so I like to design my own.
