My first book (other than those required for school reading) someone gave me in my early teens. It was a Harlequin Romance Book. I loved it so much and fell in love with romance books after that. When I was bored in class, I'd write down thoughts that ended up into stories to see how creative I could be. Over the years my stories got bigger and turned into book ideas.

As a new writer, I'd say social media and printing/ passing out business cards I made with a picture of my book cover (so they know what to look for) and where to find it. A lot of friends with businesses or contacts have helped me pass them out.

The second book in a 3-part series (The Hawaii Series). All three books will be standalone books with some of the characters appearing in all three of them. What's the story behind your latest book?
It's the second book in a trilogy but it's a standalone book. The lead characters are friends of the lead characters in my first book ('Forbidden Love', Brandon & Mindy's story). My current book is 'Finding Faith' (Stephen & Faith's story). It's about the perils of being an actor and trying to find true love with an everyday girl despite the obstacles of becoming famous. When he finally finds the woman he can love forever, she's kidnapped and left for dead. Will he get to her in time to have his happily ever after?
