Interview with Gagatha Christie

What's the story behind your latest book?
I just published "Unspoken Rules of the Bathroom." This guidebook was written after a very traumatic and harrowing experience I had in a public restroom. Someone farted, loudly and wetly, and then, with all of the clumsy confidence in the world, barged out of the stall, proving that she was indeed the farter. I could not understand what her motives were for showing herself - she knew I heard the fart. I can only assume she was not familiar with the Unspoken Rules of the Bathroom. I want to help girls like her find her way in the professional world - it's time we had this difficult conversation.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Many of my stories are too short and strange to be published traditionally, but few publishers are scrabbling to publish erotica about butter, potatoes, and suburbanites.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I usually have to pee pretty bad.
