Interview with Geno Modder

What motivated you to become an indie author?
I couldn't find quite what I liked and wanted elsewhere. Just a few stories at places like FIctionmania and the Erotic Mind Control Story Archive fit the bill. I felt as if I could write as well as many other authors, so I thought, "What the heck. Give it a try!"
What are you working on next?
I have several stories in progress. Most deal with some form of robotization and mind control, but a few are TG stories.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I'm hyper interested in sports and running, so if I'm not writing I'm usually watching basketball, football, or I'm out on the road running.
What is your writing process?
I have more of a free writing process. I rarely sit down and outline each story in painful detail. I have a broad story outline in my head, and I simply start writing. Partway through the story, I will usually stop and refine the plot and characters, add background and depth, and then decide on precisely where the story is going. Once finished, I'll take several days or weeks to edit the story. Sometimes, simply walking away and then revisiting a story weeks later is the best way to look over one's work with a clearer eye.
How do you approach cover design?
I usually make my own covers using combination of royalty free images, open source images and clip art, and image editing software from Adobe and other manufacturers.
What do you read for pleasure?
Literally everything. I usually have a minimum of three books form all genres that I'm reading at any one time.
Describe your desk
Cluttered, but that's a good thing. It means I'm using it and working.
