Currently I am working on Book 2 of the World of Gewissae series.
Who are your favorite authors?
At the moment I'm working my way through the wonderful historical books in the outlander series by Diana Gabaldon but I also love to absorb myself in the fantasy worlds of Garth Nix and Piers Anthony.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The outside world. Nature is a wonderful thing and every morning, I love nothing more than walking my dogs, no matter the weather for each season brings something new to the landscape.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I love nothing more than being outside in the world, exploring. I, along with my family spend most weekends geocaching which is a wonderful outdoorsy hobby and has taken us to places we'd never have even known about. And when I'm not doing something outdoors I spend my free time researching my family tree, which I find completely fascinating, or I make home movies, normally consisting of outdoor adventures.
Describe your desk
My desk is what you'd call organised chaos, littered with story notes, family tree documentation, cameras of various description, and photographs of my family.
When did you first start writing?
Every day at primary school my teacher would read us a story of some kind then after moving to Scotland I started attending Sunday school where at the end of the year we began to practise for the nativity. I would probably say it was combination of these that brought about my love of story telling. As a child I used to write short plays or story's about the adventures of my barbie dolls and my brothers action men. They would climb the highest mountains or traverse high seas like archaeologists or pirates in search of some little treasure.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Without a doubt, it would to be the absorption into a fantastical world and making characters do things you'd never be brave enough to do in the real world.

Dreams haunt my sleep, telling me I’m the only one who can save Mesonia from the evil clutches of Ecio Pyrrus. But just what can I, little Celine Jones, do about a world that exists only in my nightmares.
