What do your fans mean to you?
My fans mean everything to me as my first book proves. I wrote it for my would be fans and I am so pleased they enjoyed it and hopefully gave them some hope that we are all trying to make this Earth a better place.
What are you working on next?
I never really know what I am working on until I am half way through. I tend to start with a sentence or a title and work from there letting it grow organically and take its own shape and purpose.
Who are your favorite authors?
I love fantasy so my favourite authors would have to be Robert Jordan, Ursula Le Guin and Tolkien.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The journey of writing a novel.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Trying to earn some money!
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I make a key word search for what I am looking for at the time or I go on recommendations.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. It was a parrot flying across the world to save his friends. It was for a competition and I won it.
What is your writing process?
I write, I think, I write, I edit, I write, I think, I go for a walk or watch something related to my themes. I have to seek inspiration and once it triggers a thought I then make a note and then I expand on it.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I don't know if it was the first story I ever read but when I was a child I had a book full of stories and there was one about a platypus that was just enchanting and made me feel so happy.
How do you approach cover design?
I like beauty and messages that are to the point and eye catching.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read comedy and fantasy.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I have a Sony Reader but I don't know if it would be my preferred choice as I haven't experimented with other readers.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I'm just starting out so I will let you know!
