Interview with Gotharts Levenberg

What is your e-reading device of choice?
Tough Question. I love my Android Tablet,and phone. Its Accessible to all my documents. And I get to use them for art projects such as editing photos or drawing. But Ideally, If I am not Creating art pieces Or reading a book in paperback. Its a Kindle e-reader.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My Latest Photography Book Feed Me Strange Fruit Combines expired 35mm Film and a visual story of found objects, people and Conceptual ideas I had in the back of my head. Those Ideas were Things I wanted to do for years.
What are you working on next?
I am working on a book of Portrait Photography featuring different Subcultures. I want to Include Young Gutter punk rockers and maybe some older ones. Then Some Goth and abstract Portrait photography. I want to based it on the works of Nan Goldin and Patti Smith
Who are your favorite authors?
Stephen King, Maya Angelou, Palahinuk, Poe...The list goes on.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My day starts out with a Cup of Coffee, some photography, and something uneventful but fun.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
This Is a hard Question for me, So since I am a Photographer, I will Substitute Writing For Creating....It actually sounds better... When I am not Creating(IE: Painting,Doing experimental photography,)I Enjoy reading books on philosophy, Binge watching shows I miss, And going out with Fans/Friends. I also do Guest Lectures on Feminism, Gender rights, and Speak at religious events. I also enjoy going to see a local band or two. Everywhere I go I bring a film Camera.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I just go thru amazon's free books and samples some that I want to buy.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I don't remember. But I want to say, I read Fight Club and it made me rediscover books in college. Then I got a kindle. and It just didnt feel right. So I went back to paperback books...Then I have this inner existential debate over Electronic Book readers or Paperback books.
What do you read for pleasure?
Mostly Science Fiction, Nonfiction, books on art, and Philosophical works
