What motivated you to become an indie author?
I've been a writer since my late teens. It started with poetry, then short stories, etc.
What do your fans mean to you?
Having one's story read and liked is one of the greatest, most highly validating feelings ever.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I'm hoping to reach a large audience through smashwords. I know, through my own experience, how useful smashwords is when searching for a new read and I hope to be that new read for many wandering readers.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The best thing about writing is just being in complete control of a universe, creating it by stringing together words, and doing whatever I want to it.

A political vampire series.

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
To live life happily, no matter what the day brings. If, by the chance of eternal return, I'd have to repeat my life, identically in every detail, then I want to be as happy as humanly possible.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like to work out and stay in shape. I also make short films and I am in the process of learning to create animations.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I discover ebooks by complete random chance. If i'm in the mood for a specific theme, I'll search for that and read a few reviews until something strikes my liking.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I do not remember the first story I ever wrote. I was really young, probably around seven years old.
