I don't remember the first time I wrote a story, but as long as I can remember I've been writing.
What is your writing process?
In the words of E.L. Doctorow, 'Writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can see only as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.'
What do you read for pleasure?
Anything I find interesting. Sci-Fi, YA, books on classical warfare, anything.
Describe your desk
Cheap and clean.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in south-west Saskatchewan in a small town. I believe that it made me more creative as I often played army with my friends and with myself and had to think of scenarios and settings on my own.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Being able to look back and see how I've progressed over time.

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Yoga pants. Also the fact that my hair is atrocious in the morning.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Video games, reading, bathing, and working.
