When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I'm not writing I spend a lot of time with family and friends. I'm also a lover of all things nature so you will find me at the beach, a local park, etc. or just sitting in my back yard watching the wind passing through trees and listening to birds singing their hearts out

I browse by categories that I find interesting
Do you remember the first poem you ever wrote?
Yes... It was titled Love Letter to my Love
What is your writing process?
I don't have a well defined process. When I write poems the inspiration simply comes and I write. Sometimes listening to music. Sometimes looking at a picture and in many other ways

Yes... The Autobiography of Frederick Douglas
What are your five favorite books, and why?
The Alchemist, The Four Agreements

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small town in Jamaica. It was a humble place to grow up. I spent many days on my uncle's farm. I find that when I write I tap into that place of nature and spirituality. My grandmother was a quite a spiritual person growing up. She was a nature lover herself which is where I believe I get that from.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in 2007
What's the story behind your latest book?
It is a collection of poems
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I liked the idea of having full control over the end result of my work
