Interview with Intoxyc8me

What motivated you to become an indie author?
Having retired from the work force, I wanted to have something to do with my time. I wrote my first poem at the age of eight years, so writing has always been in my blood.
What are you working on next?
Dream Quest: The Wolf Dream is in its final editing stage now (will be the next release). After Dream Quest: Veil of Darkness is still in the writing stage - only the ending is left. I'll finish them I promise! It's tough because these have to live up to the readers' expectations and surpass them. My wife also hasn't been well. That's the main reason for the delay but it can't be helped, so thank you to all my readers who have been patiently waiting for the next installment. Also working on my first western book, Flapjacks.
Who are your favorite authors?
I have always enjoyed CS Lewis, Stephen King, Clive Cussler, and James Patterson. I also really like Edgar Allen Poe.
If you could do a shout-out to your fans, what would you tell them?
I'm sorry it's taking so long to get another book out. I work on them constantly but there's still a few more things to iron out. I've stopped counting the number of rewrites the next book has gone through. I really hope everyone can be patient with me I'm terribly sorry.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
When people enjoy reading my stories and want more, this makes it worth it. It also makes me want to write more so these people can continue enjoying themselves.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I am a video game junkie. I'm mostly playing a video game online on Facebook. Or I am gaming and listening to music at the same time! I also run an online blog, Dream Quest Series. I went to college for computer engineering and also I served in the United States Marine Corps as well.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Smashwords, have ebooks sent in emails to me, internet searches, most of them are on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
What is your writing process?
I let my characters tell the story. On the side I'm also running a blog. That one has been an uphill battle but I think the end result will be well worth it! You can check it out on my website, www.dreamsquests.com .
Where can you be found on social media?
https://www.facebook.com/jar.usmc please visit me soon.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle for pc also love kobo, but my all time fav program is calibre as it does everything I could wish for in my writing, reading, of ebooks.

I had been telling myself that the wolf had just been stalking me … that it was crazy. But there was more to it. There had to be or maybe I was crazy. The open Dream Gate pulsed while the Wolf Dream was sent to him. Shivering despite his sweat, Blade's eyelids flickered rapidly during the entire dream. He did not look away from the afar vision.
