Interview with

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
For me writing is something I enjoy thoroughly. The process of making up stories and characters in my mind, and to see them finally in full story format adapted into a book which people enjoy, is a fun process. I'm a creative by nature so I don't only enjoy the storytelling, I like the entire process, including cover creation and deciding on a nice, catchy, and memorable title.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I'm currently writing a series about hardships women face in the workplace wherein the workplace is dominated by women. The idea came about when I discovered how difficult women in powerful positions make it for other women to thrive. The stumbling blocks they face, the hardships they have to endure is incredibly amazing. I wanted to shed light on those hardships in a form of a series. Juicy stuff, I tell ya.
What are you working on next?
I'm currently working on Book1 of a female-character driven series. The protagonist is a new intern at a big insurance company dominated by females. She soon discovers the difficulties of thriving in a female-dominated professional environment. The backstabbing, the bullying, the pull-her-down syndrome; it's all too dramatic and juicy.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My vision and goals are the reason I'm up before sunrise. I can't wait for all of my dreams to come true. Perhaps I'm also driven by having few cheerleaders in my private life. I'm driven by the idea of proving myself right, that I can succeed - the right way - despite what some may think.
What do your fans mean to you?
I have a lovely support base on my social network sites. My Supporters, as I'd like to refer to them, encourage me in many ways. Some inbox to query me for advice on their writing, which I like because it tells me they trust my judgment. I also appreciate them giving me genuine feedback.
Who are your favorite authors?
Save for my own work, I'm a huge John Grisham fan. I'm particularly fond of his legal thrillers (The Firm, wow.). His writing style is nothing short of amazing. Whenever I'm reading his work I feel as if I'm watching a movie on a page and I don't want to stop watching. I also enjoy emerging e-book authors who are unknown but tell good stories.
