When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
In my spare time, I spend time with my teenage boys doing a lot of fun things. I'm a very spontaneous person and always aim to keep life interesting. We hike, swim, ski and generally get into trouble!
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Tbh, I find it hard to discover new books. I am a picky reader. I love romances and historical fiction!
What is your writing process?
I deliberate for a few weeks on the story and characters, then write a draft outline and do some research to pin down the dates. I then schedule my writing every Tuesday and Saturday nights, fitting in other times as they come available to me, but those two nights are work nights, period.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, it was a spy novel LOL
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I have no idea. I am a huge book worm. I've literally read thousands of books.
How do you approach cover design?
I have an awesome professional cover designer! She's patient and communicates with me well. We spend several weeks hitting the most important details, I send her pictures and explain in detail my vision of the cover. She takes all that info and crafts it into something beautiful!
