Interview with JC Taylor

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My kids, they are great human beings!
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend my time with my family which to me is the most precious time. We like watching movies, swimming in the pool and just hanging out. I currently work full time also so my life is pretty hectic: wife, mum, worker and hopefully writer.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I have a Motorola and my iPhone. Motorola is always close to me at home and iPhone never leaves my site the rest of the time. I'm have been known to find a quiet corner somewhere if my husband and I are out and about and read a couple of chapters of the book I'm reading on my iPhone before he catches me!
What is your writing process?
Is chaotic a good answer? Its sounds a little weird but that time before a deep sleep and I think of my characters and something pops into my head, then next time I'm at the computer I just start pounding away at the key board recreating the thought. Told you it sounded weird. But I do try to write for a couple of hours a day even if its working through an idea for the next part of the Plains Series.
How do you approach cover design?
I don't approach it at all I have a great person that creates my cover pages, as long as it has a muscular man on the cover I'm good to go. I leave it to the professionals because as a long time erotica reader if the cover grabs me I'll buy the book. I see pretty things and I just have to have them!
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Can I do series instead?

SE Jakes (Men of Honour), Carol Lynne (Cattle Valley), Lora Leigh (Nauti Boys), Sandrine Gasq-Dion (Assassin Shifters), Bailey Bradford (Love in xxchange)

Why? they are just yummy
What do you read for pleasure?
Anything erotic, I'm a gluttony for punishment anything: BDSM, MM, MMF. You get the idea yeah!
Describe your desk
Mmm really, its pretty bad like I said before I like pretty things around me, so I'm currently cluttered at my desk. Some of my late night writing is in front of the massive lounge room tv on a big comfy chair that I can spread out on, my trusty laptop in my lap and my adored HDMI cord plugged in and a very large cup of coffee.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love books, just love them, I have grown up surrounded by romance books and I have always wanted to try my hand at writing, I have a very over active imagination and I think I have read every genre of book out there.
What are you working on next?
The next instalment of my series, "Capturing His Heart" its the love story of Gray and Jessie, and of course the other 6 books of the series that come behind this one, I hope to have it out soon.
