What motivated you to become an indie author?
Being in control of every step of the process of self publishing. This my second book self published. An Indie Author is not allowing anyone to stop them from living the dream as an author. There are many that we tell you no, so having the opportunity to be my own boss made sense to be an indie author.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords contributed to my success by allowing me to reach so many outlets, resources at one time. It has been a great tool for me to market my brand. I really couldn't have reached this wide of audience.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Being able to share what I've learned with others and in that aspire people to have a relationship with Christ Jesus.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in New York City. It helps me to stay grounded and reflect on how much I've matured.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The Lord, my children and family. new things to experience
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Hanging with family or at church
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
through kindle mostly and nook
